Members and non-members welcome.

Members are asked to register through WildApricot and also contact Brian Beech as noted below. Thank you.

Please note the date has changed from April 26 to May 4 and change in hike leader.

This is a special event led by a certified forest therapy guide. A portion of the registration fee will be donated to ORTA. Participants are required to pre-register with the guide.

Guided Forest Therapy walk. This is a 2.5-3 hour, slow-paced walk. The route is a loop in Hollidge Tract.

For further information and to register, please contact the event guide. Please note: pre-registration is required. The number of participants will be limited to 10, given the nature of this walk.

Location: EAST entrance to Hollidge Tract (a York Region Forest), which is on 9th line, between Vivian Road and St John’s Side Road, west side. (If you look up Hollidge tract on google, it will take you to the main entrance which is off highway 48 - the opposite end of the forest).  I’ve also attached a photo of the entrance to the east entrance to give you a visual of the location (winter view). You can park on 9th line either side of the entrance. You might wish to get there a few minutes earlier, as parking is limited. Let’s plan to meet up just inside the EAST entrance, on 9th line.
