Clarington - (Hike#16 of the End-to-End Series), Clarington East, Moderate; Neil Runnalls

ORTA Map 8: Clarington East - 10+ km; 3-3.5 hours with the shuttle; moderate pace.

This hike is a part of an End-to-End Series. You are welcome to join in for a single hike or come along for the full journey.

This hike takes us east of Hwy 115 and entirely through the Ganaraska (West) Forest. Please note that each hiker will need to pre-purchase a day pass from the Ganaraska Forest Conservation Authority. The pass is $7.00 and can be purchased online. There is a reminder on the site not to purchase your pass too many days in advance (store.ganaraskaconservation.ca)

In advance of the hike, consider downloading the Field Map app and the Ganaraska Forest Map. 

Preparing for the Hike: Dress in layers, wear comfortable footwear,

bring a hat and 2 litres of water. No dogs, and no drop-outs.
