Uxbridge - East Walker Woods (Conc 7) & Durham Forest, Mod-Fast, Anna Sunn

Members and non-members welcome.

ORTA Map 5; 10 km; 2.5 hrs; moderate-fast pace; hilly. Sturdy footwear and poles recommended.

If you are new to ORTA or to mod-fast hikes and not certain you're ready yet for 10km, join us for this hike.  There will be a drop-out at about the half-way mark.   We will start in East Walker Woods and then cross over into the Durham Forest for the second half.    

Non-members are required to contact the hike leader by 6 pm the day before to discuss the hike in advance.

Meet at the parking lot on west side of Uxbridge Conc. 7, 2 km south of Goodwood Rd./Durham Rd.

Please note that this a pay parking lot. Where possible, hikers are encouraged to carpool from alternate locations with fellow hikers to reduce parking fees. Uxbridge residents are not required to pay for parking. Details regarding the Uxbridge parking system can be found at:

Non-members are welcome to join two (2) hikes (where they will sign a waiver of participation with the Hike Leader). After a couple hikes you will be encouraged to become a full member and join us in our conservation, community engagement, social initiatives, and public engagement efforts.
