Uxbridge Town Trails; 12 km; 2.5+ hours; Moderate to fast pace

Please arrive at 9:00 a.m. for a 9:15 a.m. start.

This hike is open to members and non-members.  Non-members must contact the hike leader at least a day before to discuss whether this hike is suitable for you.

Come out and explore Uxbridge, the Trail Capital of Canada.  We will explore the South Balsam; Quaker; Maple Bridge; John McCutcheon Way; Barton; and Ewen Trails as well as Elgin Park, with connections through residential pockets, the old part of town and many streets with beautiful century homes.  The trail will be a mix of forest, meadow, gravel and paved surfaces and is largely flat.  Hiking or trail shoes are recommended.

Please note the extra distance for this Friday morning hike.  As the trail is largely flat, I do not anticipate that our time would much exceed 2.5 hrs.

Be prepared with water and proper footwear.

Meet at the old train station with parking along Railway St.  The street address is 19 Railway St., Uxbridge.  GPS 44.11026, -79.12488
